LUBAO, Pampanga—Applicants of Superl Phils. Inc, manufacturer of leather luxury bags of global brands, enjoy free ride and snacks courtesy of Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, thru the Public Employment Services Office (Peso) of Lubao, headed by Manager Raquel Lugtu.
So far, po more than 2,000 jobseekers have been assisted to Superl, which is located inside the economic zone of Calibutbut, Bacolor. Close to 1,500 of these hired workers are from Lubao while more than 500 applicants are from various municipalities.
Last Saturday (Dec. 2), Peso brought some 250 applicants to Superl.
“This is our early Christmas gift to those who are unemployed. They now have a source of income for their families,” Lugtu said.
“We bring applicants literally at the doorsteps of the companies. This is one of our ‘best practices’ in employment generation,” she added.
Superl is on continuous hiring for its manpower requirements and all interested applicants are advised to visit and register at the PESO office.
