Discuss Issues and Regulations Concerning Market Operation Especially during the Luzon-Wide Enhanced Community Quarantine

Lubao Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda meets with market vendors at the municipal hall on Sunday afternoon to discuss issues and regulations concerning market operation especially during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

The vendors have agreed to conduct business at the market from 5am to 1pm, with some vendors setting up their shops as early as 3am to accommodate early market-goers.

The mayor, though, requested the vendors to extend store hours until the afternoon for those coming from far-flung barangays and in accordance with the orders of the Inter Agency Task Force to lift half-day business hours imposed on “essential” establishments.

Nakipagpulong si Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda sa mga tindera sa palengke nitong Linggo ng tanghali sa municipio upang pag-usapan ang mga isyu at mga panuntunang nakalatag sa mga pamilihan lalo na ngayong panahong umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine sa buong Luzon.

Napagkasunduan ng mga tindero ang oras ng pagtitinda mula 5 ng umaga hanggang 1 ng hapon. Samantalang mayroon namang mga magtitinda na bukas na ng 3 ng madaling araw para sa mga maagang mamimili.

Gayunpaman, nakikiusap pa rin ang alkalde sa mga tindero kung maaari silang magpatuloy sa pagtitinda hanggang hapon para naman doon sa mga nanggaling sa malalayong barangay at bilang pagsunod sa utos ng IATF na huwag limitahan ang oras sa kalahating araw ang mga “essential” na mga establisimento.
