Distribution of Hybrid Seeds to Hundreds of Farmers of Barangay San Pedro Saug, San Pedro Palcarangan and Del Carmen

Lubao Mayor Esmeralda “Esmie” G. Pineda and Municipal Agriculture Officer Maria David distribute hybrid seeds to hundreds of farmers of Barangays San Pedro Saug, San Pedro Palcarangan and Del Carmen.

More than 470 bags of hybrid rice, weighing 15 kilograms and worth P5,000 each, were given for free by the Department of Agriculture thru the initatives of Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda and the municipal government.

Each bag of certified seeds can cover a hectare of ricefield and can produce a yield of at least 200 cavans of palay.
