Food Packs and Palay Seeds as Part of the Rehabilitation Program

Some 470 farmers and fisherfolks from Lubao town who were affected by Typhoons Quinta, Rolly and Ullyses received food packs and palay seeds as part of the rehabilitation program initiated by the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Lubao Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda.

The local government unit distributed 6 kilos of rice, 12 canned goods (corned beef and sardines) and 10 noodles each to the beneficiaries while the DA Regional Field Office 3 awarded a total of 389 bags Certified Palay Seeds.
