Lubao BFP holds Poster-making, Drawing and Essay Competitions

LUBAO, Pampanga—In observance of the Fire Prevention Month, the Bureau of Fire Protection in this town held poster-making, drawing and essay-writing contests on Monday, February 26, 2018.
Led by Senior Fire Inspector Sheila Marie C. Florendo, municipal fire marshal, the BFP invited schools within the municipality to participate in the contests that sought to spread awareness about fire prevention.
Florendo was assisted by Senior Fire Officer (SFO) 3 George Cabusao and SFO2 Sherwin Fernando. The entries were judged by Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Annette H. Gulapa, MLGOO, Municipal Administrator Elizalde D. Bernal, and Edgar A. Dabu of the Lubao Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Participating schools and participants for the Essay Writing were: Rica Mae O. Curioso of Sta. Cruz Integrated High School; Janna Patricia L. Miguel of San Vicente National High School; John Vergel M. Bansil of Remedios High School; Lena Coleen L Kunang of Lubao National High School; and, Junnel D. Calara of San Roque Dau High School.
For the Drawing Contest, the participating students were: Russel O. Roncal of Sto Tomas Elementary School; Jace Daniel Montemayor Paulino of Sta Cruz Elementary School; and, Timothy Jann Q. Angeles of San Vicente Elementary School.
Participating schools and participants for Poster-Making were: Franz Jino D. Bautista of Sta Cruz Integrated High School; Christian Bucud of San Roque Dau High School; Albert C. Panlilio of Remedios High School; and, John Carlo R. Laxamana of Lubao National High School.
