Lubao Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda led the preemptive evacuation on Saturday of residents living in coastal barangays to the temporary evacuation sites in Sta. Tereza 1st and Sta. Cruz in anticipation of strong winds and rains as tropical storm “Paeng” rushed towards Central Luzon.

The mayor, along with Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office chief Marilou delos Reyes, Councilor Edgar Dabu and several barangay captains, personally monitored the condition of the evacuees.
