Some 150 indigent Lubeños on Monday availed of free dental services from members of a dental society from South Korea.

Jeju Dental Association members arrived Sunday for a visit in Lubao and conduct a dental mission at the Lubao Municipal Gymnasium.

Officials from the local government unit welcomed the visitors at the arrival lounge of the Clark International Airport.

Municipal Administrator Elizalde Bernal said dental services included tooth extraction, oral prophylaxis, dentures and filling.

It was the second dental mission the group of Korean dental health professionals conducted in Lubao. The first was in November 2015.

The group was composed of four dentists, five nurses and two dental technicians.

Aside from Lubao, the Jeju Dental Association has also brought their missions in Batangas and other countries like Laos.
